    Am I the only one who is going nuts from this?

    Any tiny fluctuations in temp/hydration/hunger makes me make the most awful dying sex moans. Or as my friend says, "Hey, I'm dying of the sex again, can you kill me?"

    I know sometimes audio cues help for protraying health states but please, for the love of my sanity, can we at least get the option to turn those off????

    [BETA] Atlas Discord Bot

    Hello fellow pathfinders,

    I've spent my last few weeks developing a Discord Bot that might be of interest to the Atlas community, bots like these already exist out there but it feels like there are no good public versions available!

    That is why I've decided to open my Atlas Discord Bot to the public, giving everyone access to the same edge others might already have.

    Most of the information you might be interested in can be found on our documentation pages.

    • Description: The Atlas Discord Bot (ADB) is an automated way to track players, alert when boats enter your coordinate and much more for the WildCard game Atlas.

    • Features: Automated player tracking (get warned when a player goes offline, comes online or moves server grids), automated boat alerts (get an alert when a boat enters the grid you're monitoring), stats, maps, and much, much more (check the commands in the documentation)

    Be aware, this bot is still in active development, it might contain bugs, unpredictable downtimes and more. It would be great to have some of you join the already 35 Discord servers that are using this bot today!

    The bot was made using publicly available player information (using the Source Query Protocol) and is available for both NA and EU PvP servers! (PvE is planned but not yet available).

    Title. For example, the timer will read 24:00:00 for a Pork Pie, but actually spoils far faster. Around 30 minutes- even after the V18 update.

    Edit: They work on ships for cooked food, but not on land.

    ChemB and IVANARMY brought aimbotters with mytical rifles to protect their dragons yesterday. 100% headshot ratio from miles in 170 pop server. One guy (Pathfinder) killing everyone, another guy name didn't even pop. It was disgusting.

    Just noting how bad the render distance issue is. Had a boat sunk because a brig popped up behind me out of nowhere. It didn't render in until it was literally on top of me. You can sit right off the coast of an island, use a spyglass and not see any structures on the beach. Issues like this, and the constant ridiculous grind are turning a lot of people from this game, my company has gone from almost 200 to around 10 active. Not sure why devs keep making decisions against the communities wishes, have seen a lot of games die within the past year for the same reason......

    After developing ARK for three years I just cannot comprehend how you (Jeremy and Jesse) are still okay with forcing people to cut such massive swathes of time out of their lives just to raise a baby animal... It's unhealthy. Can you look into adjusting it in the near future? I would prefer to go to bed over hand feeding a virtual animal over the course of the entire night... Or go grocery shopping instead of hand feeding it all day. You know?

    Yesterday I argued extensively that cannon carts were a placeholder intended to allow you to destroy underwater structures. That has now been patched out, but nothing seems to have been put in it's place. So how does one destroy underwater structures, or do we wait for companies to build underwater walls around our harbors and permanently landlock their enemies? We need underwater destruction mechanics in some form like now.

    So taxes seem to have gotten an update. It used to be that tax rate actually didn't matter because it wasn't calculated. (EG, a tree that gives you 100 wood would still give you 100 wood at a 30% tax rate, but the Bank would also get 30 wood.) Checking taxes on the most recent patch shows that there's a minimum 30% effective tax rate if the taxes are above 0%. This test was done on a private server at 1000x rates with a Common Stone Hatchet on a beach tree, recording the wood gathered. This was all done within the territory of a Bank.

    EDIT: All of the resources collected through taxes do, in fact, go into the Bank. There's almost no discernible difference from 0.1% taxes and 30% taxes. Pay no mind to the times for the Bank to update, as the Bank seems to update every five minutes. Below is wood harvested + wood found in bank, the total and the tax rate.

    Just to test on the latest build, v18.15, I conducted the test again. Ten hits with a Common Stone Hatchet against a tree and recording the amount of wood in the bank and on my character:

    30% tax 3191+1929 = 37% effective tax rate
    30% tax 3163+1889 = 37% effective tax rate
    30% tax 3193+1902 = 37% effective tax rate
    0% tax 5126

    1% tax 3158+1901 = 37% effective tax rate
    1% tax 3746+2262 = 37% effective tax rate (Eleven hits, oops)

    For those of you saying the test must be done on Official, I ask of you: does the function of multiplication or division change at higher numbers? Is 300 not 30% of 1000? Is 3 not 30% of 10? The higher rates used to conduct this test are required since I often won't get ten hits from a tree on Official. I'd have to hit different trees, giving different total amounts of resources. I'd also hit trees and sometimes get zero wood and only thatch. That variance alone would muddy the data. The way I am doing this is the most accurate way I can think of.

    After the patch we log in to see two of our blueprint built ships got removed from company. No damage, nothing. No message of them sinking, just a notification they were removed. They weren't even inactive ships. I get that this game is in alpha, but this is such bullshit. I've continued to play despite constantly dealing with other teams exploiting because I believed that the game was going in the right direction, but now DEVS are sinking our ships? Okay. Cool.

    I know that if you enjoy somthing chances are your not going to leave a review I know this because I am the same way, but atlas sits at 33% positive reviews on steam which sucks because all the reviews are from the launch problems. I know for a fact so many people love this game and I wish more people would get it but the mostly negative tag turns people away. So pls write a positive review if you love the game!
