Another monkey died, this needs to end. Posted: 18 Apr 2019 08:08 AM PDT Im a big fan of having a small companion with me on my journeys. So I always have a parrot or monkey sitting on my shoulder but sometimes you live a dangerous life and dont want to hurt your precious buddy. So I place them under deck and unfortunately, sometimes forget about them for an hour or two. Most of the time they are still there but sometimes they are not. From time to time I see that another one of my lost companions died on the sea and I feel very bad about it. It seems like there just is too much bobbing and crossing servers which can make them pop out the hull and get washed away. So I thought, maybe its possible to get some kind of railing where you can place a small animal on. You could put it on the ship or in your base to have a safe spot for your creatures while you cant have them on your shoulder. I see a lot of stuff being added into the game, this one would be helpful to prevent losing small tames, it would be a nice thing to add to your base (if you care about interior design) and I personally would thank you from my heart that I no longer have to see how these small creatures die. Posted: 18 Apr 2019 12:54 AM PDT Crazy how much work you can do against them when they can't offline you or flag spam an island. Today they came at my company 8 ships in total from cstg fifth fleet sub, cstg fifth fleet, kok, maelstrom, and blackheart, against our schooner and brig. We took off a total of 26 planks they took off 9 planks total. We sunk a schooner and a brig. One brig suicides into the harbor trying to sink a docked ship gets mortared to death another brig was boarded took out the sail crew cause they don't use swivels or armor. We have to picaxe the sail down cause the captain steering wheel is bugged into the mast of the ship (seems to be like that on all cstg ships) doors open and so we kill the beds rendering the kok brig worthless. I love it when they just throw numbers at a target and think it's gonna work. Maybe if they declare war on us and buy some mythical tames and Zerg maybe they'll be able to win lol. Posted: 18 Apr 2019 04:40 AM PDT Just wondering if anybody else noticed issues with this? We tested them and you can only place one? Which it looks like it says 1 of 40, so we think you can have more than one. When you place an item for sale in it, it costs a lot to sell it for the upkeep. and if you add more items it costs even more. So it seems like it is broken, as it stands it is not worth using due to the cost of upkeep. DEVS please just make it one set price for upkeep over a 24 hour period. And allow for more than one so each player can sell all his goodies on his own. [link] [comments] | ||

Server Setting for Shop Upkeep Cost? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 09:24 AM PDT The current design of player shops requires you sell quickly to make much profit. On an unofficial server with a smaller player base, this is makes them useless. Is there a way to configure the upkeep cost? Looking at the DevKit, there appears to be a Biome Volume Upkeep Cost multiplier, but I can't see any ini config changes that affect that. If there isn't a way, devs, can you please add it asap? We would love to use shops, but they are just unfeasible with this cost. Allowing us to configure it ourselves will allow us to adjust it based on our community size. [link] [comments] | ||

Someone dies in the cave entrance and his bag gets glued to the ceiling, those bags are impossible to loot not matter the angle. Will this ever get fixed? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 12:10 AM PDT Hello fellow pirates, outlaws and law abiding sailors, I've not been playing too long, so alot of the game is still a mystery to me, But i do understand like ARK, Atlas also has Zip-lines that work in a very similar fashion, Just want to know before i waste my time crafting and getting the skills for it, will they work on a ship? Why is offline raiding still a thing? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 09:49 PM PDT I'm just curious about why people defend offline raiding. I play on a pvp server because yes, I enjoy pvp, but what fun is pvp when the majority of pvp'ing that gets done is against offline players who have no chance to fight back. I've only been playing for a few weeks and I really enjoy the game so far, but it's so frustrating waking up after work and school and finding that everything you built is destroyed and you have to start from scratch.
