    Theres a few things I want to know.

    Like I have claimed an island now when someone else comes to my island during combat time and they put down a flag, do I have to goto their flag and contest it otherwise my island is gone or do they have remove all my sleeper/npcs on the whole island to be able to claim my island.

    ​

    Also do I need to protect my flag? Is the gold in it safe? I heard you can open the inventory but I don't know if people can actually steal the gold.

    Sorry for noob questions: I never went to claimed part of the map before ptr and I never played on PTR either

    Edit: is there a way to move the flag? I put it in a really bad spot.

    New PVE Claim System is worse as the old one

    so today i was able to test the new claim system, and its even worse as the old one.

    couldn't play yesterday evening because i had to go to bed because of today work day. befor i start going to work 6:00AM i shortly logged in and locked at the map. all small islands are claimed.

    ​

    the old island our company was befor is now 53 point, without an understandable reason, its small, there are many high mountains, high aggressive canivores in high count and little building place. so i think the classification of the islands is wrong or only random.

    ​

    in PvE you shouldn't be able to claim a hole island with one flag. in PvE you should use the old claim flag system but be limited the count of flags by company members and upkeep costs.

    ​

    in the end, after so many of our original company has left atlas, i think we will not get up to 53 points to get our island back. so we will go to private servers or i stop complete and go continue playing satisfactory

    Ship randomly sank in freeport..

    Are there new freeport rules? We anchored in a port last night. My friend logged on this morning and everything was fine. The second he left the ship it sprang leaks and sunk. Anyone know why?

    loading preset chars from befor patch crash atlas game

    i have made 2 presets to play tthe same looking char on diffrent servers. this i try to use after patch and both crashes the game. i than save a new one and this is loadable and works

    So, how does a company get island points to claim land? We are 3 people (soon to become 5), but I did not understand how do I get points, at the moment we need 32 but we have 0 and no clue why.... ps: we already managed to build a bank

    Elephant taming bugged?

    Everytime I want to tame an elephant it doesnt allow me to feed food to him despite the text saying that i can. (I put the food in the last slot and I have taming 3 so that's not the issue) Sometimes it works but when I re-bola it doesn't. Is this a known bug? Does someone knows the fix?

    Havent been keeping up with the discussions so im out of the loop on all the changes. Just did a search to try and find the pvp rules, offline raiding protection and all I find is thread of people bitching but no official docs on what they actually are?

    Is the best way to gain gold by following treasure maps? Are there other gold gaining methods?

    Side note: I just bought my first sloop, stocked up with food and supplies, traveled through cyclones/sotd in three grids to get all the way to a small unoccupied island ultimately getting shot down by ship of the damned right near the island. I was still able to swim to the island only to realize that I needed gold to claim territory hahaha. Then a snake poisoned me, I killed it but a giant croc showed up and gobbled me up.

    Any other tips on getting started are also appreciated.

    We placed a flag. Contested?

    PVE EU. We placed a flag, it took the 79 gold required. We did not get the Island and now we have nothing. There were other players on the Island, i did not see their flag.

    If you can put down a flag.. And loose the gold, how can you not then get the Island?

    We waited like 5 hours..

    Thinking of buying in for PvE only, enough PvE-only gameplay?

    Hi all,

    I honestly don't know much about the game, but I watched some videos on YouTube, and it seems like there might be something fun here.

    I'm interested only in the PvE servers though (I don't mind experimenting on the EU one till the NA one opens), and I'm curious if there's enough content to keep PvE'ers busy.

    So for the vets out there, is the PvE-only gameplay loop fun? I know it's subjective, but is there enough content to keep you having fun day to day?
