Others Experience?

Has anyone ever had an instance where all stone pillars were wiped at the same time stamp as well as all ships in dock, to include a brig in shipyard. The name that said did it was Slinger, which to my knowledge is a Dev. Haven't done anything sus so I'm curious as to why it happened maybe?

Hie do servers work

So I was looking online and can't find an answer, if a server is 1 block on the map then when u leave that block you are going to a new server right? If so then what if the server is full, you just can't cross? I find the way this works waaay more confusing than simple ark servers, if u log Into the wrong server do you have to start again as well? Very complicated
