Replacing gunports with standard planks; yay or nay?

I have a brig with originally built with gunports but I want to converts it from a battleship to a trading vessel

Is it possible to just overwrite the gunports with standard ship planks like you can with normal walls? (e.g a thatch wall overwritten by placing a stone wall inside it)

[NA-PvP] Recruiting Pirates

Small company of focused pirates and scavengers. No intention of controlling entire grids. Ideally we'll end up a small tight knit, well oiled machine that works alongside the larger more massive companies.

I am NAPvP, but anyone from any timezone or location is welcome to help ensure a healthy company presence at any given time of day.

Current Progress:
- Very strong allied presence on other islands in grid.
- Easy access to gold.
- Safe place to build outside of lawless.
- Tames for gathering.
- Relatively laid back players that (mostly) try to enjoy what we do in the game. We build for security as well as aesthetic, you will find a massive stone block or gate spam over my dead body.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for people that enjoy cooperation, even if you're the only one on at the time. If you're the type of person to use company tames, store in company buildings, farm with company equipment and weapons, and then try to hoard for yourself... this is not the company for you.

We live together, work together, benefit equally.

People that enjoy PvE type gameplay that just want to RP live/tame/farm/etc are more than welcome, encouraged even.

If you want me to add you on discord, you need to ensure you're not auto blocking messages from strangers.

Hey everyone, Our company is currently seeking members who are looking to get more out of the game. Maybe you've been struggling on lawless islands, or whatever your story may be, you have a place here. We're seeking mature & chill players who like a sense of community as well as accomplishment. We own a whole tile with bountiful resources & lots of space available for you to build or to use our prebuilt structures if you so choose.

We've all been at a point in this game where we don't think it has much more to offer, but there's so much more and it's not all constant battles. I mean, we enjoy raiding, taming, powerstones, whaling etc, but ultimately it's your adventure and you make what you want of it. We don't require anything of you. When we first joined this company, we were living on a lawless island and being raided daily by everyone and their sister. It was a rough life. Once we found this company about a month ago, everything changed. We were able to build ships that last, bases that matter, keep tames and collect rare items/tames. I want that for you. I want anyone considering joining us, or considering reaching or for more info to ultimately have an amazing gaming experience and I look forward to hearing from you. o/

Company settings help

Our company "structure ownership" is set to company owned.

How can we set up the permissions so that people can build ships?

Our default member settings are as follows:

Prevent demolish structure: yes

Access inventory rank 1 Activate structure rank 1 New structure inventory rank 0 New structure activate rank 0

With these settings people can not pick up newly placed walls etc.

Any thoughts?

ATLAS - NA PVP How gypseas company betrayed their former alliance mates

who am i?
i was a former officer in gypseas, who was dishonorably discharged for unknown reasons to me. i did not inside, i did not betray, sell infos to any enemy or else. NOTHING i ever did justifys to be hanged of a cliff in cuffs and be treated like an criminal. NOTHING

i joined gypseas before chrismas and played like 600 hours with them. 30 hours shifts with 0 sleep during the beginning and all the beachbob parties we had.

why do i post this?

what is done is done, i dont have a problem with that. the way how my things were returned to me and not returned to me, realy pissed me off. they stole my stuff from me. But all the constant puplic attacks on my reputation, that i am a stalker or whatnot, leave me no other choise.

i can herby give testemony that gypseas planed to betray the N6 alliance days before the 13.2.2019. they asked their members if all of them are ok if we merge into them, there was a voice meeting, they talked bad about other companys within the alliance. they are traitors. the following screenshots should be proof. you defend your allys not only on the battlefield, you also defend their honor.

if you see a gpysea, only ask them 1 single question. "did you guys start to talk about a posibile merge and held secret meetings with destiny days before 13.02.2019?"

if they respond with the truth, they have to answer with yes.

more and more voices are stepping up and confirming only that gypseas is a company of traitors. that they backstabbed the N6 alliance. i can only give testemony of how the planned all the backstabbing days ago and how they dishonorably discharged me. after i heared what was going on, of their evil plans on how to backstab the N6 alliance, i kinda prepared to quit the company and said good bye the nice way, expecting a goodbye in return. ( check screenshot nr1, we speak about a merger and i kinda say goodbye, not judgeing or commenting any of their actions )

i dont want to be part of a company of traitors or backstabbers. that is below me, i want to keep my honor and dignity.

i ask the internet, how can i be a stalker, if i have stopped talking with her for the past 2 weeks?

how can i be a stalker if 8 days ago from now she shared her private pictures of herself, her dogs and her family with me on discord? i will the post all the msgs of her and me on discord from the last few days. if needed, i can post more.
