ATLAS Cargo of the Damned [Suggestion] |
Cargo of the Damned [Suggestion] Posted: 11 Jun 2019 06:42 AM PDT This game is very heavily tame oriented and land focused, even though it is meant to be a ship game. People spend most of the time on their islands farming, and would only use ships for transport, and some combat. I have an idea on how to move some of the farming that is done on land to the sea. We already have fleets of SoTD (Ship of The Damned), which are good for blueprint hunting and just some ship combat practice. My suggestion is to add a new type of SoTD which would carry raw materials, with cargo racks on the sides just like the player ships. The new type of SoTD could be called the CoTD (Cargo of The Damned), there would be 3 classes, schooner, brig, and galleon. The larger the CoTD, the more materials or heavier materials it would be carrying. So a schonner CoTD could be carrying 5000 fibre or 800 metal, but a galleon CoTD could carry 20 000 fibre or 2000 metal or even a mix. Apart from the classes there would be different tiers (colours). These tiers would determine the the distance of the materials that would be coming from. So say a green CoTD could have fibres that can be fount on your grid, but a red one could be carrying fibres from 6-7 grids away, giving you different types of materials and making those CoTD a precious target. The CoTD would be protected by the SoTD fleet and would have a lot of resistance, but not much fire power. This would make them taking down harder, so people can't just lure away the SoTD to easily sink CoTD, and the SoTD would always sail back to the CoTD. This could help encourage people to be more on the sea, increase sea interactions, and even increase the chance of a PVP ship clash. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Jun 2019 06:27 PM PDT I saw a little bit of atlas gameplay and it looked awesome but i want to know if someone who hasnt completed ark ever on any map should buy the game. I can tolerate a few graphical glitches and stuff as long as it not too much worse than ark on console im fine. Just want to know if its worth it. I dont even know if its available on xbox [link] [comments] |
