In your mind how would you guys balance having a ship used for transporting resources for battle ie having a brig with accessible containers to carry ammo and supplies. At the moment you can't asses the cargo rack and it's understandable why. What I'm doing so far is having a ship only specked in weight and doing it like that. Although that has many limitations. Posted: 05 Sep 2019 04:24 PM PDT So I'm newish to Atlas and mostly got it just to play on an rp server some friends wanted me to join. At the very end of the season, there was a battle and it was exhilarating but we got trounced. The enemy had much higher quality ship pieces and weapons than we did so we didn't stand a chance. I don't know how the rest of you feel but I think the blueprints and Intelligence stat are the worst aspects of Atlas. I've seen many posts here complaining of companies cheating to get mythical ships and then just being unstoppable. I understand that this is supposed to be an "mmo" and traditionally the people who can play the most always dominate these types of games, but honestly screw that, it's not fun and clearly an unsustainable design for this pirate game. If everyone had the same quality pieces and gear, it would level the playing field and instead of spending days or even weeks building one ship to be top notch, I think it would be way more fun if people made fleets of lesser ships instead there would be more balance and probably a more active playerbase because losing a ship wouldn't mean losing an egregious time sink. Idk, like I said I'm new to Atlas but that's my rant lol, get rid of blueprints and Intelligence stats then nerf pve to reflect that and watch the game flourish with how it should be. Thoughts?
