Is last oasis the nail in the coffin for Atlas? Posted: 20 Feb 2020 09:06 PM PST After playing atlas from season 1, perservering through all of the bugs, cheaters and general issues the game gradually got stale. Fresh wipe a new start, same issue, you get so far and then get to a point where it seems pointless again. Season 3 for many is already over, the mega companies losing core members almost daily. For a while now people who enjoy this game style have had little in the way of options of games to 'main' on, within the next few months there are many big releases. Last Oasis, New world, Starbase being a few. Will large companies leaving to play other games help grow smaller companies or is the game reaching the end of its life span before it was even released? For me I feel there is a massive void for casual content, this is my genre of gaming and I have a regular job, being able to jump on and get involved in something for a hour or so after work is great. But the grind here pretty massive. (Official anyway) rewards are relatively slim or really repetitive. What do you, the community think about the games progression? I have a real love hate relationship with atlas, It has so much potential but I feel the game itself is neglected. I have heard many good things about last oasis, many of my atlas friends are already playing the beta and are unwilling to return to atlas at any point in future, it's had it's chance in their eyes. Can we have a non-toxic discussion, realy interested to get a few POV [link] [comments] | ||
