I've wanted to do a build like this for sometime, its a perfect build for getting started i think. Its simple, practical, cheap and effective also i designed it to easily be converted later on into a animal pen as i expand this starting base into a settlement.

Opens old leather book

Let me tell you the story of a boy whose insecurities and delusions of grandeur continue to be the reason he always seems to fall short of his expected goals, and bring down those around him.

This good ole boy, forces his people to use their company symbol in discord. Nevermind if you play other games or are part of other communities, they must know which atlas company you serve. And it boils down to that specific word; "server". There is no community, only once voice. He frequents the NA PVP discord egging people on and clarifying his superior position in the game. Self-proclaimed winner of season 2 and 3, likes to comment on any questioning his superior leadership skills by using such profound quotes as "you mad" and "salty af lolz", our generation's Mark Twain.

Now that i have subtlety described our character, the story begins when this boy's company decides to move across the entire map looking for greener pastures. When he finally found an island to his liking he used his presence and the name of his company to take the island from the previous owners. Promising victories and perhaps an island of their own down the line, they sequestered the previous owner to half a mountain on the very edge of the island, having them park their boats on the left over space behind some shallow waters. The island next door was inhabited by old members of the federation from previous seasons and old allies. Happy to see federation on the same grid, they extended warm welcomes and hoped to reconnect for the good old times, only to be met by silence and unresponded discord messages. No matter how these old allies tried, the boy didn't seem interested in people who didn't kiss the ground he walked.

After settling they began their conquest of other grids, taking land left and right, and posting some professional level memes on reddit, yet never any videos of them winning any land battles, i wonder why to this day. Sure enough their grasp of land got the attention of troll companies, and hoping for some good old fights these band of misfits and degenerates went to war with the boy. Reddit filled with videos of battle and dank memes, as war raged between both factions.

One day the boy, who had ghosted his previous allies, felt he had to exert his power to show dominance (as the war was not going as well as he hoped, and the enemy kept pushing ever so close to his shores). He now demanded the neighbor island, claiming his old allies were a liability and thus only he could protect the grid. He rolled his fleet of BP galleons, and his army of lvl 120 exploit-master followers on this island and as a show of generosity the old allies would be allowed to leave with their tames and boats if they simply surrendered their island to a more capable team. This act of generosity was quickly rescinded as the boy realized he could not clear the defences of the island from those he thought incapable of defending, and thus asked the old allies to stay in the island and to just simply kiss his ring once in a while. The old allies begrudgingly accepted as a temporary solution while they found a new home.

But like most victories of the boy, it was short lived. Not two days had passed when his trolling enemy company showed up to the island, while the boy and his followers exploited the yeti cave. Within an afternoon, the troll company built up to the flag and contested it. The boy was outraged and demanded his followers to defend the island. When his followers showed incapable of defending, he demanded those allies he had trampled to defend his island. Those he had taken from and mocked while doing so accepted to help defend the island. But once again his pride and narcissism overshadowed the fact that he knew little on how to lead a military defence of an island, and thus the island was lost to the troll company. Did the boy ever recognize the irony of evicting a group of people who held the island for two weeks because they were incapable of defending, only to be incapable of defending said island and lose it within 32 hours? No, that kind of self-introspection would mean the boy would have to accept he alone cannot lead, and would have to accept that everyone needs others to grow and succeed.

And as such ends the story of the boy whose hubris continues to be the insurmountable obstacle that will continue to hinder not only his goals, but the goals of his followers and allies as well. How far will the boy fly with wax-leather wings, before the sun burns him up, and he falls just to be seen as the arrogant fool he knows deep inside to be.
