Whales in Atlas 2021 Posted: 11 May 2021 04:02 PM PDT is there any truth to the rumor that whales (sperm or blue) spawn more or only on weekends? is there any concrete evidence to the hypothesis that whales spawn more or better after a server reset? And finally, is there substance to the theory that whales spawn more when the character is on a ship without ballistas? Because that would be kinda messed-up. Are there in fact three types of whales: Monsterous Sperm (polar), Blue (tundra), and Large Sperm (deep waters, tropical) ?? When i travelled to polar on a cargo vessel with no ballistas, i saw whale after whale to the point i was forced to dodge them to avoid collision. Yet, when i return to the same area in a ship with balistas, i can patrol the same waters for seven hours at a time and not see a single whale.
