Posted: 27 Apr 2019 12:11 PM PDT So I know the game has been wiped once but with the new mega update coming up I wonder how this is seen upon overall, is it worthless to put too much effort into the game? Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 27 Apr 2019 09:34 AM PDT If the player who activates the guardians dies before all guardians are killed the game wont allow the treasure to be dug "so many guardians still alive" However many guardians were alive at time of death will claim to still be alive even if killed by other players. The other bug is if a ship captains game crashes (while alone) and the ship is forced to anchor itself, then the ship will become unresponsive to all commands. Can be fixed by leaving the chunk ir grid fir a few minutes and spawning back, sometimes. [link] [comments] | ||
Suggestion on adding trade and trade missions. Posted: 26 Apr 2019 09:20 PM PDT I have become more and more impressed with this game as I keep playing it. One thing I would love to see is the player base to grow. It is just a mere suggestion but I think it could break up the monotony of the basic grind. This goes well with the idea I posted a couple weeks ago about trade ships. If you are not in the loop, I will provide a link afterwards. Now getting into this idea. It is pretty simple. Trade MissionsTrade missions from freeport to freeport. Starting with a trade mission NPC1 at freeports. This NPC1 would have a slot of random missions to deliver "cargo" which you would deliver to another freeport. You would pay an investment of gold depending on how away the delivery freeport it. Once completed the delivery NPC1 would give you a bonus percent of gold off your initial investment.
This idea works well with the cargo ship idea, because the contracted items could have a weight. Trade PortsPlayer built trade ports. These could be the size of a bank, and have a radius like a flag around them. As long as your ship is parked in the area, you can buy and sell goods from your ship to that of the player built trade port. Player built shops was a step in the right area. And I think that this is the way the developer team is trying to push players to interact with each other.
Warehouses (alternate name: Trade Bank)The developers already could be able to implement this. They have flags and taxation banks linked. So this could be possible.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NPC1: Non Player Character BP2: Blueprint Link to Cargo ships idea OP notes: A big thank you to the community, and developers. I hope to see some feedback as well. I know numbers could have a lot of improvement. But I just want to get an in-depth idea in the air. I also know there is a lot of work involved for these ideas, and that there is a lot of other issues in line first. [link] [comments] | ||

Are the big cats actually useful? Posted: 26 Apr 2019 09:11 PM PDT Seems like they should be, but it looks like they're outclassed by the bear at pretty much everything. Bear has more health, stamina, speed and similar if not higher damage right? In addition to that it farms, pulls cannons and swivel guns... Are the big cats anything more than toys? Posted: 26 Apr 2019 01:38 PM PDT We have cages in the game, why not make it possible to get wild animals inside the cages then use those to transport the tames to a better location for taming. It has happened to us that we go to islands infested with vultures and other pests, when we are taming lots of time the tame dies while in the process or as soon as we tame it. I would be nice to trap the animal with bolas, then move the animal to a locked cage, move the cage to a boat and sail away to tame it on a secure environment. Maybe they can have differente sizes and durability, in that way you can have a Tiger break the cage after some minutes because it is trying to get out. Plus there can be an option to store tamed animals inside the cages for easier transport. [link] [comments] |
