Posted: 25 Apr 2019 05:58 AM PDT I'd like to advocate for pig taming. When everyone else has all cool harvesting tames out but you still need to farm, having a pig follow you with Attack Your Target on is nice to have. Snakes and scorpions ruining your day? Your pig will protect you. They are so easy to tame. They can't carry much but you can put extra tools on them so you can farm longer. If you do have a gathering tame, you can have the pig follow you too to help protect the gathering tame (elephants and giraffes for example). If you need to use them as a mount you can for a short time before they will run out of stamina but at least you don't need a saddle to ride them. Some enemy sees you and attacks you? They will get knocked back by your pig. Appreciate the pigs people. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 25 Apr 2019 12:41 AM PDT Just got raided and our island taken by a tribe with one bear and three crabs. The crabs are able to grab the "invincible for pvp balance" puckle npcs off their turrets then killing them making them useless. They weren't much help anyways, only did 3 damage per shot to the crabs. But they could've stopped the bear from getting the cannon cart close. They jump rediculously high, leaping up cliffs that would be impossible to climb to cap our mortar emplacements so we cant use those. Nothing we got them with even moved the health bar, not even grapeshot. We were completely helpless to stop them, how tf is that balanced. Why would the devs make puckles unsnipeable to balance raiding then introduce a creature to just negate that. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 25 Apr 2019 12:36 PM PDT I'm finally trying to learn the taming ropes. Today I have been a scourge to crows. I've tried punching them. I've beat them with my spyglass. They always die. Most of the time on the first hit. I finally got lucky and found a level 29 and it didn't die! I got two rounds in before I had some FPS shuddering and punched it one too many times. Posted: 24 Apr 2019 06:40 PM PDT Wanted to raise this issue to see if it had bothered anyone else. Made a fine Large shipyard, not much but hey, an extra level is nice. Problem is, now my Galleon I made in it won't go past level one. Other players had this issue on the server as well. It's a private server, but have heard about problems from other private servers as well. One person used a mythical shipyard and was stuck at level 9, the other, a legendary and is capped at level 7. I just wondered if anyone knew of a fix other than starting the ship over in a common shipyard, or even if the ship will be OK after fix or if it's permanently capped at 1. At the very least raise awareness of this bug. On the same server I made a common shipyard from a blueprint, and the schooner I made from that seems to level fine. I'm not certain if the admin had changed the ship leveling mechanics or not, but I assume he didn't. [link] [comments] | ||

Seems like every time I try to fire the cannons in my schooner's gunport at medium to long range, 3 or 4 of them end up just blowing up on the gunport itself.. Never had this issue in Atlas 1.0... Very annoying while trying to full broadside at any range besides upclose and I only see 1 or 2 cannonballs leave the ship and 3 or 4 smash into my gunport. HELP! [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 24 Apr 2019 01:56 PM PDT Hey, since the new building system, that you need every 6 structures a connection to ground, the complete system is broken. I have a ceiling, that is connected via wall AND pillar directly to the ground. I can place down a ceiling, no problem. But after a few mins, the ceilings starts to disappear and the pillar to the ground is directly next to that ceiling. I have no clue, why they are disappearring from themself but I can place them. That is sooo frustating. Anyone have an idea how to solve that problem [link] [comments] | ||
