| Solo players and small companies stuck in lawless zones because of new tax system Posted: 13 Apr 2019 05:38 PM PDT As a solo player I can't claim any land and the game is way too much of a grind to be giving half your resources away in taxes so I had the idea to temporarily recruit enough solo players or small companies who need land and dont want to pay taxes to join my company so we have enough company points to buy an island and il foot the gold to make the purchase. Once we have an island you would be welcome to either stay in the company with me or leave the company and live solo on the island tax free. Either way it would cost you nothing and you would get land to build on without tax. Let me know in the comments if your interested and if we can get enough people we can make a plan to move forward [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 13 Apr 2019 05:37 PM PDT I spawned on an island in D8 with nothing but a pair of underwear. I quickly started exploring the map and found a treasure map in a bottle. I located the location of the treasure in D7. It was pretty close so I made the 2nd level ship and made my way over. Boy was I wrong. It took nearly 2 hours from the North of D8 to the center of D7, and when I finally got there, I had drank all my water, ate all my food, and was on the verge of starving. I quickly ran to the island and gathered some quick meals and wolfed them down. I then had to assist my girlfriend with something, ran back to my ship, and raised the ladder, only to come back 5 minutes later dead due to a rattlesnake. How did it even get on my ship? I recorded it to see that a rattlesnake had spawned on my ship and killed me. I ALT-F4'd as soon as the game spawned me in. [link] [comments]  |
