Posted: 23 Apr 2019 06:18 AM PDT With the low pop of the game per server, using the player shops is rather difficult, and its pretty much impossible to make money with them currently. Heres a simple fix, allow groups to make a single shop per company, and that shop can be used from anywhere. So for example if someone lists 10k thatch in A10, someone in B8 could buy it from their stall. Now this would cause some issues balance wise so heres the suggestion. If this is added, add either a gold cost per grid, or a X amount of time per grid. So for example if someone bought that thatch 2 grids away, they would have to wait 30 minutes per grid, and/or pay an extra 1% per grid for delivery(to be deleted, not given to the seller) . P.S. There also needs to be a huge reduction in the cost of listing items, its kinda silly atm. [link] [comments] | ||

This is really, really demotivating as a renter company. Do you get more gold from maps with more ppl? Posted: 23 Apr 2019 08:10 AM PDT Does the amount of gold multiply by there number of people some the treasure hunt, or is the total just split? I could have sworn each player gets the rng roll for the total amount of gold. So now players = more gold. However, I just did a common map worth up to 92 gold with one other person and we each got 38 gold. Anyone know how it works for sure? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 22 Apr 2019 01:55 PM PDT Do we approve of this game's level of information sharing regarding people moving around? Thanks to tools like the discord bot "Atlas CCTV" (see: google) you can now reasonably track people and ships, too. If 5 of you are on a ship, I can tell you entered my sector from the west, thanks to CCTV, and can look you up to see the last 5 grids you've been in and when. Consequently, of course, a lot of people name themselves "123", purely to make it harder to track them on tools like this or to know when they enter or leave a grid. We also know to man the mortars when grid population jumps even if the names are all "123" (maybe especially then). I somewhat frown on this information. I always thought it was bad in EVE, too -- that you have so much information about who is in your sector even though there is no way your character should have this information. Would it be better to get jumped out of the blue by a horde of screaming pirates you had no way to know were there? Or do we prefer to see "BillyBobJimbo has entered the sector" with external tools telling us where he came from, where he's been, and, 3 days later, where he's at right now. i want my old steam name back [link] [comments] | ||

Despite the early flaws I love this game, except.... Posted: 23 Apr 2019 05:14 AM PDT Taming. It is such a major pain in the ass. Why did you go with this model? You had it right in Ark. In atlas it is work. Also why don't bolas stack? It takes like 20 if you don't screw up and.... you're gonna screw up. And probably die. So... fix that please? Otherwise great job! Can someone please link me to the table relating to how many company points you get for each member? I know it's 30 for the leader but I'm not sure on subsequent members. Unclaimed Island in EU PvE. Is there a cooldown on getting the island points back after unclaiming? As of now, we are still shown using 30/52 points even though we only have one 15 point island claimed. Is there a cooldown on the points being returned, or are they lost forever?
