    How do I do this? I tried using a bola and a blackjack but after a few hits the guy just stood up and ran away. In ark it was fairly easy with tranqs and even the basic club. Any help would be appreciated.

    This game is almost a year old and you still can't complete some treasure maps because the guy decides to hide underground

    "There is one guardian left before this treasure can be dug" is a phrase that is going to haunt my fucking dreams. How hard is it to make them either A.) Not fucking hide underground and never come back up or B.) Tie a distance parameter from the chest itself, if they leave that radius for X amount of time, they die. Doesn't seem like a hard fix to an incredibly annoying issue.

    Pvp Help! Experienced Atlas Players help me!

    Anyone who can answers these will save my life

    So I am new to Atlas and getting the hang of it, played Ark since release so I have a easy understanding of basic Pvp and how the game works on normal level, but I am still new to Atlas and am in need of PvP help from people who experienced PvP before me

    Today went bad, I am playing on official with my brother, basically what happened is I went to claim an island, the island literally had no one on it for like 5-8 hours straight, literally as soon as I placed the flag I got killed like 10 minutes later, then my ship got sunk and I got set back to nothing

    Now none of this bothers me as I expected this to happen because I don't know how claiming works in full detail but then the guy must have stole the island because it says it belongs to him now

    Anyway here at my questions

    1 Should I be playing official PvP over unofficial PvP? Is official better than unofficial or is it the same as ark where unofficial is better unless you are in a big tribe

    Trying to decide if I should go to unofficial or stick with official and try to learn what I did wrong

    2 What is the fastest ship/sails and how do I make my ship fast. I was told by a friend to put the small or medium speed sails on my schooner and I just got wrecked by another schooner who was using a large speed sail and he was like 3x faster and rolled up with cannons and blasted me

    Are large speed sails faster than everything else meaning faster than the smaller sails? If so my friend gave me false information

    3 How do I avoid getting my ship sunk while I am pvping with my ship, meaning what's the best way to start my ship and repair it, does the hammer repair the planks or do I need extra planks? My ship sunk due to 3 planks being blown off

    Wondering what stats to put on a ship

    4 what is a good PvP loadout to have, should I rock a certain gun or melee weapon and carry a certain load out?

    5 when you place a claim flag does it alert everyone that you did so? Because its weird that nobody was on my island and when I went to place a flag I got shot at 10 minutes later magically

    6 should I go lawless or try to claim or try to steal land? I dislike having to join parties and stuff so would love it if I could just hide without being found in one day

    7 How did the guy steal my flag, I placed it and I died then minutes later it said he owned the island

    8 what is the best way to overall just enjoy this game as a duo or 3-4 man company, I want to play PvP so should I go official or unofficial?

    Any other pro tips or things I should know to make me good at this game please give me the information

    This game seems very fun but getting merked in less than a day as a newbie is lame, I wouldn't even be mad if I at least lasted a week but I couldn't even get my claim on an island and nobody was on it for multiple hours then I tried claiming it and people magically appeared

    I do want to play PvP, I don't want or expect to be alpha or big, I just want to enjoy building up a little l, getting into some fights and if I get wiped a week or so later I wouldn't be as mad
