| Ramming ship - Tips, tricks questions Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:39 AM PST Ok. So the ramming ship is insanely fast now. Tips: Destroy that Steering wheel and place a new one on the nose of the ship. Destroy those default sails and replace them with High quality sails (Large handling on the rear as far back as you can then a speed in the middle of the ship) You will thank me for how incredible well this thing handles now. Rowing is your best friend. It doesnt count as wind, its like you are doing small teleports. So If you are moving.. even at max speed. Use the rowers. If the canons do not work and show as (Destroyed) / (Demolished) then just park your boat somewhere for 20 min and you will find that the ship resets those parts and the cannons again work. Dont bother painting the ship (Sails and cannons are fine) When the ships resets you will see the paint all goes away. You CAN repair the ship without using those special repair kits. Just set an NPS on sweeping the deck and ensure you have the usual thatch, wood, fiber, metal in your ship storage box and the ship will fully heal over time. Questions or issues: I cannot seem to remove cannons on the ship nor replace them with better ones.. Painted sections of the ship revert once the ship is docked for a bit. Still cannot place ladders on the side meaning we only have the rear one. Still cannot place our own wall sections, etc. Could we please have a limited ability to do so? Bottom floor STILL way too short making everything from the rowing section to the back useless. ESPECIALLY with only 1 way in and out from down there. We should have an escape hatch with a ladder leading to the deck where the original Steering wheel is. Feel free to add your thoughts.
