Questions from "returning" players Posted: 30 Aug 2021 02:56 AM PDT We (3 RL mates) just returned to Atlas after not playing for about 2 years. It's a bit tricky to keep track of all the changes made, but we figured out most things already. However, there are some things we are not a 100% sure about, so we just wanted to ask. And btw. we do play on the official EU-PvP server. Do only armored dockyards protect ships or regulard dockyards aswell (they just have far less HP) Can we anchor multiple small ships (e.g. Sloops) in one single Shipyard or is alywas just 1 ship inside protected? Based on the 2 quetions above, what would be the "best" approach for us starting new. We mainly want to "live" on the ship but want to avoid getting offlined. 10k gold for the Small Shipyard and then 5k gold for the schooner? Or is there some "save" step in between. Farming 15k Gold with a Sloop, no Animals etc. doesn't seem easy. Or are we missing something? Automated Stations e.g. Mines seem quite OP. We had a mine running over night (~10-12 hours) and we had about 6k iron afterwards and all that on an island that seem to have no natural iron. Are these stations really that strong/mandatory? Every single claimable island seems to be claimed already, however there are far more lawless regions then there were 2 years ago. Sound problems Posted: 29 Aug 2021 05:54 PM PDT Whenever I get on a ship my Bluetooth headset starts popping, crackling, and cuts out. Once I return to land all the sound returns to normal. Has anyone else had this problem or a solution? submitted by /u/AuGa1 [link] [comments]
