Does View distance have an effect on ship draw distance? Like does having low view distance prevent you from seeing player ships farther away or is the ship draw distance the only thing that effects it?

Using Shield to Block on Xbox?

So far I'm not seeing any kind of controls that allows us to block with the shield on Xbox. PC is apparently CTRL + Mouse click, but not seeing anything for xbox. Help appreciated. :/

So, how “good” is ATLAS right now?

I've been intrigued by this game as both a fan of Sea of Thieves and ARK: Survival Evolved (despite the glaring issues in ARK), and since it's been recently released onto Xbox One I was wondering if it's worth getting.

I would likely not be playing on any official servers as I simply can't handle the grind or amount of time it would take on ARK's official servers already, so I'm assuming that would be the same w/ ATLAS.

Finding treasure

Alright maybe I'm not doing this right but using the treasure map I get to the island I'm in the area of the X and begin to dig......... and continue to dig......... repair and proceed to dig and I find nothing. Is there a trick to this or just need to get lucky finding the spot. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
